I had decided against a tankless heater due to several shortcomings and was going to replace my 17 year old unit with a standard tank until I saw the Eternal at the local home show. I had bids on both from Bill at the Plumbing Store so I got an estimate, got answers from you by Email and decided to go ahead. The difficult part was the additional cost and the fact that I am 78 years old. Bill and his son did a great job on the installation and it is working as advertised. I have an on demand circulation pump (Metland), and it works fine. I am not a tree hugger but I am ecology minded and I feel good about the reduced carbon footprint. I think I am going to be pleased and plan to spread the word.

The GU195S is AWESOME! It's so tiny (replaced a 50 gallon Tank heater) that we weren't sure how it could keep up with a constant flow of hot water. It did with ease and we actually get hot water sooner than with our old tank model. We were also impressed with how quiet it is. Very well thought out design, so simple and so efficient. Completely ended our rotten egg smell the water had every morning with our tank model.

We had another brand and were having issues with fluctuating temperature. With a little one in the house the sometimes scalding temperatures were a big concern. Cleaned up all work areas, explained the process and the unit clearly and made sure everything was in place and in working order before leaving, ie, furnace and fireplace. Very positive experience. This mostly is due to the contractor Fast Water Heater. I found that our old water heater was leaking at 4:30 pm on Friday afternoon. Before I knew it with only 1 call to their office I had an appointment for the next day for an estimate and I had the unit installed on Sunday! They were fantastic. Our experience with the water heater system is fairly limited because we have only it installed for less than 24 hours but we are loving the fast hot water.

I replaced my existing tankless water heater with the Eternal. With my old unit I had a lot of pressure loss and had to add a small electric water heater to make my recirculation system work. With the Eternal I didnt need the tank anymore. The pressure loss is gone and my re-circ work beautifully. I am very happy so far.
